Oliver is a great community made up of friendly neighbors and wonderful families. Within walking distance from the subway station, Johns Hopkins, Kaiser Permanente, and Kennedy Krieger medical campuses, Oliver is a great place to call home. Home to the National Great Blacks in Wax Museum, and the oldest and first black Catholic Church in the country, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
With various housing options to select from, there are two and three-story homes, apartments and senior housing choices. Dr. Bernard Harris, Sr. Elementary School is a beloved grade school that is located in the heart of Oliver.
Oliver has two community farms, the Oliver Community Farm, located in the 1300 block of N. Bond Street, and the Bethel Farm Lab in the 1600 block of N. Bethel Street
